The CHED Technical Panel on Engineering has decided to decrease the number of college years it normally takes to acquire an engineering degree. Right now, it takes five years after high school. Students who finish Grade 12, on the other hand, will need only four more years to finish their engineering degree.

With STEM focusing on sciences like Biology, Physics, and Chemistry, this strand is also perfect for those who wish to become a doctor or a nurse.
